IIM CAT 2024 Answer Key: Last Day To Raise Objections – Here's How To Submit Challenges

IIM CAT 2024 Answer Key: Candidates can raise objections on the answers till today through the official website at iimcat.ac.in.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has released the answer key and response sheet for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) on its official portal, iimcat.ac.in, for approximately 2.93 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam. The deadline to raise objections against the CAT 2024 answer key is today.

"The Objection Management window opens on December 3, 2024, at 6:00 PM and closes on December 5, 2024, at 11:55 PM. Please note that https://iimcat.ac.in is the only official website for CAT 2024, as publicly advertised. No other website is authorized for information or submission of the CAT 2024 application form," reads the latest update.

The CAT 2024 exam took place on November 24 across 389 test centers nationwide and was conducted in three sessions. Of the 3.29 lakh registered candidates, around 2.93 lakh appeared for the exam, marking an overall attendance rate of 89%.

As per the CAT 2024 question paper, the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section included 24 questions, while Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA) had 22 questions each. Candidates will be evaluated on a total of 68 marks.

IIM CAT 2024 Answer Key: How To Submit Challenges?

 

Step 1: Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “CAT Candidate Login” link on the homepage.

Step 3: Log in using your ID and password.

Step 4: Locate the ‘Objection’ link on the dashboard.

Step 5: Select the question ID you want to challenge and choose the correct answer.

Step 6: Upload supporting documents to validate your challenge.

Step 7: Pay the objection fee of Rs 1,200 per question.

Step 8: Submit the objection and save a copy for future reference.

After the CAT results are announced, IIMs will shortlist candidates based on their CAT scores, academic records, and work experience. The selection process includes a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) to assess candidates' communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
