IIM Bangalore Launches Short Term Leadership Coaching Programme For Managers

The programme offers a unique blend of in-person sessions and live, online modules spread across the nine-month duration.

IIM Bangalore's Office of Executive Education Programmes has launched a Certificate Programme in Leadership Coaching. This nine-month program is meticulously crafted to empower practicing managers and leaders, enabling them to unleash their coaching potential and positively impact their teams.

Scheduled to kick off on April 1st, 2024, the programme offers a unique blend of in-person sessions and live, online modules spread across the nine-month duration. Divided into three modules, the course curriculum begins with an exploration of the essence of coaching and the development of individual and interpersonal effectiveness. The second module delves deeper into practicing and expanding coaching skills, while the final module provides participants with hands-on opportunities to strengthen their 'Coaching Muscle'.

Talking about the format of the course, Programme Director Prof. Debolina Dutta, faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area of IIM Bangalore, said, “The course has been designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to create an active coaching-based leadership culture in their organizations.”

The programme will offer the opportunity for participants to learn from the expert faculty of IIM Bangalore and coaches from Leadership That Works (LTW). After the successful completion of the programme, IIMB EEP alumni status will be granted to participants, and the coaching certification will help them obtain ICF certified ACC-level coach accreditation.
