The Indira Gandhi National Open University has started accepting applications for admissions for its January 2023 session. The application process has begun for several courses offered by the university. Applications are to be submitted online on the official IGNOU website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The last date to submit applications is January 31, 2023. 

Notably, the Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts admissions into its various degree and certificate courses in two cycles: January, and July Admission Cycles. To apply for IGNOU January 2023 Session admissions, candidates will be first required to register on the official portal, followed by filling the online application form. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed instructions and guidelines carefully before applying.

  • Visit the official IGNOU admissions portal - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
  • On the homepage, click on the “New Registration” button
  • In the new page that opens, register using your basic details like Name, Contact Details and Password
  • After the registration, login to the portal again using your username and password
  • In the next step, fill the online application form by furnishing your personal details, academic qualifications, course opted for and correspondence details
  • Upload relevant documents online
  • Pay the IGNOU 2023 January Session 2023 Registration Fee online
  • Submit the online application form
  • Download and save the application confirmation page for future reference
