IGNOU Admission 2024: ODL, Online Programmes Registration Last Date Extended Till July 15

IGNOU January Admission 2024: Interested students can apply for admission to various courses on the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. 

IGNOU Admission 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for admissions to Open and Distance Learning (ODL) prorgmmes. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply till July 15, 2024. Students can fill the application form for ODL and online programmes by visiting the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. 

"The last date for Re-registration for all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for the January 2024 session has been extended till July 15, 2024," IGNOU said in a post on X.

IGNOU Admission 2024: Steps To Apply

To apply for IGNOU Admission 2024, candidates can follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website, ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘new registration’ button available on the homepage.

Step 3: Register yourself and create login credentials.

Step 4: Log in with the generated credentials and fill out the application form.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents as per the specified size limits.

Step 6: Pay the application fee through the provided payment options.

Step 7:
 Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

At the time of admission, candidates are obliged to pay a non-refundable registration fee along with the program fee for the first semester/year. Payment methods include net banking, UPI, and credit or debit cards. If online payment transactions do not reflect immediately, candidates are advised against making a second payment right away. IGNOU recommends waiting for a day, checking the payment status, and then attempting the payment process again.

IGNOU January 2024 Admission: Documents Required For Registration

For IGNOU January 2024 Admission, candidates need to upload scanned copies of the following documents while applying:

1. Photograph (less than 100 KB)
2. Signature (less than 100 KB)
3. Educational qualification certificates (less than 200 KB)
4. Experience certificate (less than 200 KB)
5. Category certificate (less than 200 KB).
