ICSE, ISC Board Result 2019: Pass percentage 98.54%, 96.52% for Class 10th, 12th respectively

ICSE, ISC Board Result 2019: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the ICSE and ISC Board Results 2019 today at 3 pm. The overall pass percentage recorded for ICSE stands at 98.54% and ISC at 96.52% for the examinations held in the months of February and March 2019. CISCE today live streamed the Press Meet called by Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive, CISCE for ISC (Class XII) and ICSE (Class X) on YouTube. The marksheets and pass certificates will be dispatched to schools on 8th May 2019 for ISC and on 11th May 2019 for ICSE Exams 2019. Class 10th ICSE Result 2019 – Highlights: Students of class 10th registered a pass percentage of 98.54%,0.3% up from 2018. The ICSE exams 2019 were organized for 60 written subjects of which 22 were for Indian languages, 10 foreign and 2 classical languages. Region wise, the western region performed the best in ICSE Results 2019 with a pass percentage of 99.76%, followed by southern region at 99.73%, eastern region at 98.06% and northern region at 97.87%. The ICSE Result 2019 for abroad students fetched 100% pass percentage. Highest Marks - English 99.77%, Bengali 99.70%, Hindi 99.89%, Kannada 99.93%, Malayalam 99.95%, 99.97% Punjabi. History, Civics Geo 98.69%, Maths 94.04%, Science 98.8%, Commercial studies 98.82%. It is the first time that the marks for English, History, Civics and Science have been segregated for Class 10th. Also, CISCE has introduced supplementary exams from 2019 onwards. CBSE Class 10th Result 2019 DECLARED, 91.10% overall pass percentage, all you need to know Class 12th ISC Result 2019 – Highlights: The overall pass percentage of ISC i.e. Class 12th Exams 2019 stands at 96.52% up by 0.31% from 2018. A total of 86,713 students from 1080 schools had appeared for the exams out of which 39,964 were girls and 46,749 were boys. Girls surpassed boys with pass percentages of 97.83% and 95.39%, respectively. The ISC 2019 examinations were conducted in 49 written subjects of which 14 were Indian languages, 6 foreign and 1 classical language. Highest Marks - English 99.40%, Bengali 99.96%, Commerce - 95.47% Accounts – 90.62%, Maths – 84.36%, Physics – 98.83%, Computer Science – 99.34%. Region wise, the southern region students performed the best in ISC Exams 2019 registering 98.91% pass percentage, followed closely by western region at 98.13%. The eastern region achieved 96.66% pass percentage and the northern region at 95.76%. Abroad students recorded a pass percentage of 99.69%.
