New Delhi: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced to conduct a common recruitment process for clerical positions. According to the notification, interested candidates can apply through its official website - ibps.in. The last date to apply for the position is July 21. Candidates are advised to read the whole eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the post. The IBPS has taken out 7,000 vacancies.

The IBPS Clerk recruitment exam is held in two parts - Prelims/Preliminary exam and Mains exam. 

"The online examination (preliminary and main) for the next common recruitment process for selection of personnel for clerical cadre posts in the participating banks is tentatively scheduled in September 2022 and October 2022", the notification read.

What is the age limit for IBPS Recruitment?

Candidates should be minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years when applying for the position. However, there is a relaxation on the upper age limit as per notification.

Application fee

As per the official notification, the fee for General/OBC/EWS candidates is Rs 850 and Rs 175 for the SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Educational Qualification

The candidate should hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

IBPS Clerk 2022 Salary Structure

According to the notification, the basic salary of an IBPS Clerk is Rs 19,900 - Rs 47,920 per month.

"Rs.19,900 is the basic pay in the IBPS clerk salary, and the remaining pay includes dearness allowance, house rent allowance, medical allowance and transport allowance. The cash in hand concerning the IBPS Clerk salary is Rs 29453 for those who join initially," the notification read.
