Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GujCET) has been rescheduled four times already by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) due to CBSE Board Examinations 2019.

GujCET and Karnataka CET 2019 common entrance exams are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 23rd April 2019, in the states of Gujarat and Karnataka, respectively. However, the exam dates in both the states are coinciding with the voting of Lok Sabha General Elections 2019. Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GujCET) has been rescheduled four times already by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) due to CBSE Board Examinations 2019. GujCET 2019 is the entry ticket for candidates seeking admissions to various engineering programmes like B.Tech/B.E. and Degree/Diploma courses in Pharmacy in the state of Gujarat for courses commencing 2019-20. On the other hand, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is scheduled to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019 on 23rd  and  24th April 2019 for candidates seeking admissions to Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science courses, B.Pharma and other Professional courses in the institutions across the state of Karnataka. The Election Commission of India (ECI) is scheduled to hold the polls for General Elections 2019 on 23rd April 2019 in both the states viz Gujarat and Karnataka, and as per authorities, most of the teachers will be engaged in the voting process. Thereby it looks inevitable at this juncture, that both the Common Entrance Tests will be conducted as per the current schedule. Candidates who had registered for the GujCET 2019 and Karnataka CET 2019 must keep a close tab on the respective official websites to know the new exam dates if the Boards decide to defer the state-wide entrance exams. Stay Tuned!
