The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will close regular applications for the GATE 2024 Exam tomorrow, October 5, 2023. Interested candidates who are yet to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are advised to apply for the exam at the earliest. Applications for the GATE 2024 Exam are to be submitted online on the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in. While submitting applications though, Female, SC, and ST category candidates will be required to pay a GATE 2024 Registration Fee of Rs Rs. 900. All other candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1,800.

However, candidates who still miss out on filling the GATE 2024 Application forms by tomorrow, would still be able to fill in the GATE 2024 Application form by October 13, 2023. with a late fine of Rs 500. As per the earlier schedule, the regular registrations for GATE 2024 without the late fine were supposed to close on September 29, which was later extended till October 5, 2023. However, candidates may note that the given timeline of the GATE exam for this year is tentative and is also subject to change.

Notably, the IISC Bangalore will conduct the GATE 2024 Exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Candidates with an undergraduate degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ and Humanities can apply for the GATE 2024 Exam. Those studying in the third year of their undergraduate programmes at present can also apply. Every year, the GATE Exam is conducted for admissions into various Postgraduate courses and engineering jobs in IITs, government-supported institutions and agencies.
