GATE 2023 Scorecard Releasing Tomorrow On gate.iitk.ac.in - Steps To Download

The GATE 2023 Scorecard will carry essential information like overall marks and scores, All-India rank, qualifying marks, etc.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) will be releasing the GATE 2023 Scorecards tomorrow, March 21, 2023. Once released, candidates who appeared for the exam can download their GATE 2023 Scorecards by logging into the official website - gate.iitk.ac.in. 

Earlier, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) released the GATE 2023 result today, March 16, 2023. However, back then, only the candidate scores were announced, including cut-off for subjects and qualification status. 

However, the GATE 2023 Scorecard shall carry detailed information like overall marks and scores, All-India rank, qualifying marks, etc. Candidates must also note that the GATE 2023 Scorecard shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of result declaration. Candidates seeking admission into Masters/ Research degree courses or recruitment through GATE score will be required to produce their GATE 2023 Scorecard at the time of reporting for the same. 

Around 6,70 lakh candidates registered for the esteemed GATE 2023 test out of which, around 5.17 lakh candidates appeared for the test. A total of 1 lakh candidates have been shortlisted through the exam, restricting the pass percentage of the GATE 2023 Exam to 18 percent.

GATE 2023 Examination

Notably, the GATE 2023 Exam was held in eight sessions on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, for 29 various subjects. The GATE 2023 Exam is a national-level entrance exam for admissions into postgraduate engineering and sciences programs, as well as engineering jobs in public sector companies. 

The highly sought-after GATE examination is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore, and seven older IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati, and Roorkee), on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB) Gate, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education of the Government of India.

  • Visit the official website - gate.iitk.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘login’ button and login using your credentials
  • Your GATE 2023 Scorecard shall now be visible on your screen
  • Download the scorecard for future reference
