DU UG Admission 2021: 3rd Cut-Off List To Be Released Tomorrow - Check Details

DU Admission 2021: Admission process for UG courses in DU is underway. So far the university has issued two cut-off lists and more than 48,000 students have also got admission in DU.

Delhi University Admission 2021: The admission process is underway at Delhi University. According to official data, more than 48,000 students have been enrolled in Delhi University under two cut-off lists, while the university has received more than 1.18 lakh applications so far. Thursday was the last day to approve pending applications in colleges.

The third cut-off list for UG admissions will be released on Saturday. The university has received a total of 1 lakh,18 thousand 878 applications under two cut-offs, while 48,582 students have paid fees. Significantly, more than half of the 70,000 undergraduate seats available in DU have been filled.

More than half of the seats are full in Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College

1,591 applications have been approved by the college principals. Dr Jaswinder Singh, Principal, Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College said that about 440 out of 820 seats have been filled. "We have 10 students who have applied for the B.Com program," he said. The cut-off in the third list is likely to fall by one per cent." The cut-off for the BCom program in the first list was estimated at 100 percent, but the course did not find any takers, so the cut-off in the second list has been reduced.

Third cut-off in Hindu college likely to fall by 1 per cent

So far, 1,858 students have secured their admission to Hindu College. Manish Kansal, the admissions coordinator of the college, said, "The third cut-off list is likely to see a decline of up to one per cent for courses. Unreserved seats for B.Com (Honours) have already been filled. OBC seats are also almost full. The reserved category will have vacant seats and the third list is likely to be reduced by up to one per cent. A meeting will be held on Saturday to decide on the cut-off. "
