DU Admission 2021 To Be Closed Today Under Third Cut-Off, 52,000 Students Got Admission So Far

DU Admission 2021: The third cut-off in DU is the last day to apply for admission. The college will have time to approve applications by tomorrow. And the students will pay the fees on Saturday.

DU Admission 2021: Today is the last date for applying for admission to undergraduate courses under the third cut-off 2021 at Delhi University (DU). After this the admission process will be closed. According to the media reports, at the end of the third day of the admission process, colleges approved more than 10,000 applications. Du released its third cut-off list last Saturday, showing a 0.25 percent to 1.5 percent drop in marks required to get admission in undergraduate courses. However, the cut-off for popular courses remained at the highest level.

Special cut-off list will also be released

A special cut-off list will be released after the closure of the admission process under DU third cut off list. Students note that the admission approval by the colleges will end on October 22, 2021 and they can pay the required fee by October 23, 2021.

DU has received over 1.50 lakh applications so far

70,000 UG courses seats are to be admitted in Delhi University. More than 50% of the seats were filled after the first cut-off list. According to the statistics, so far the university has received 1,61,024 applications under all the three cut-off lists and 52,029 students have paid fees. About 10,558 applications have been approved by the principals.

291 applications were approved at the Rajdhani College on Wednesday, while 230 applications were approved on Monday. A total of 1,209 admissions have been made so far under the three lists. According to Rajesh Dwivedi, admission coordinator at Aryabhatta College, "So far most of the admissions have taken place in the department of Pol Science (81), BA Program History + Pol Science (74) and Mathematics (60). He said he received 213 applications on Wednesday, out of which 73 were rejected.

Dwivedi said, "Most of the application forms were cancelled in BCom (43), BA programme and Computer Science (27). In English Honours, unreserved category seats are full, but seats in other categories are vacant," he explained, explaining that seats for BA Computer Science (Honours) will remain open in the fourth cut-off list.
