Delhi University Admissions 2020: Last Date To Apply Extended To July 31

The Delhi University has extended the last date to apply for UG and PG courses to July 31. Earlier the registration process was supposed to conclude on July 18.

New Delhi: Delhi University has extended its admission date for undergraduate and postgraduate courses to 31st July from July 18th. The admissions process this year will be online like most universities to keep in mind social distancing. While the admission process remains the same, the press release issued by Delhi University said, “This is in continuation of earlier Press Releases dated 20th June 2020 and 04th July 2020 regarding University Admissions to Under-graduate (UG), Post-graduate (PG), M.Phil., Ph.D. programmes etc. for the academic session 2020-2021. All eligible applicants are informed that the last date of the online registration process of all the courses (UG, PG, M.Phil., Ph.D. programmes etc.) has been extended up to 05:00 p.m. 31st July, 2020.” ALSO READ| IGNOU Opens Online Admissions UG And PG Courses; Here’s How To Apply Students can access the online form on the official website www.du.ac.in. As of today, the university has a total of 453479 registration for UG courses and 169884 registrations for postgraduate courses. The CBSE declared class 12th board exam results last Monday. This year a large proportion of students have scored above 90 percent. According to the data, as many as 243 students scored above 90% in CBSE class 12th examination, while 42 students scored more than 95%. This means that the cut off will be high as well. To understand the admission process, Delhi University conducted webinars for parents and students. Students if they face issues during the process can email undergraduate2020 @admission.du.ac.in (For queries related to UG admission) or pg2020@admission.du.ac.in (For queries related to PG/M.Phil/Ph.D admission). The ongoing pandemic has disrupted the academic process. Since many exams had to be either cancelled or postponed, many processes like admission processes had to postponed.
