CTET January 2024 Registration: Interested candidates can apply online at ctet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the application deadline for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 examination. Candidates now have until November 27 to submit their forms on ctet.nic.in, which was previously scheduled to close on November 23. For general or OBC NCL category candidates appearing in one paper, the examination fee is Rs 1,000, while for both papers, it's Rs 1,200. SC, ST candidates, and differently-abled individuals have a fee of Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for two papers. Scheduled for Sunday, January 21, CBSE has identified 135 cities as exam centres for the 18th edition of CTET. The test will be conducted in 20 languages. Detailed information regarding the examination, including syllabus, eligibility criteria, and important dates, can be found on the official website.

Exam city details and admit cards for the CTET January exam will be issued in due course. The exam will be conducted online in computer-based test mode (CBT) in two shifts, each lasting 2.5 hours. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12 pm, and the second from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

CTET 2024 Registration: Steps To Apply

To fill out the CTET 2024 application form, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Look for the "Apply for CTET Jan 2024" link on the website and click on it.

Step 3: If you are a new candidate, choose the "New Registration" option and complete the registration process. 

Step 4: After successfully registering, you can log in using your credentials and complete the CTET application form. Complete the form by providing the required information, such as your details, educational qualifications, preferred exam language, exam center choice, and more.

Step 5: Now upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specified guidelines.

Step 6: Pay the application fee through the available payment options. 

Step 7: After completing the payment, make sure to save or print a copy of the application form and payment receipt for your records.
