CTET December 2024 Registration Ends Today, Here's How To Apply On ctet.nic.in

CTET December 2024 Registration: Interested candidates can apply online on the official website at ctet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the online registration for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 today, October 16. Candidates who have not yet applied can submit their forms by 11:59 pm on ctet.nic.in. The exam, originally set for December 1, was first rescheduled to December 15, but due to a clash with state-level exams, it will now be held on Saturday, December 14. The CTET will consist of two papers. Paper 2 is scheduled for the morning shift, from 9:30 am to 12 pm, while Paper 1 will be conducted in the afternoon shift, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

CTET December Session 2024 Registration: Steps To Apply

Follow these steps to apply for the CTET December session 2024 via the official website:

Step 1: Visit the official site at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2:
Click on the "Apply Online" link for CBSE CTET December 2024.

Step 3:
Complete the form and note your Registration/Application Number.

Step 4:
Upload your recent scanned photo and signature as per the instructions.

Step 5:
Pay the exam fee via debit/credit card or net banking.

Step 6:
After completing registration, print the confirmation page for future reference.

The examination fee for general/OBC category candidates is Rs 1000 for either Paper I or II, and Rs 1200 for both Paper I and II. For SC/ST/Differently Abled Persons, the fee is Rs 500 for either Paper I or II, and Rs 600 for both. Payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

According to CBSE guidelines, candidates are required to secure at least 60% marks to qualify and receive a CTET certificate. However, the school management (including government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) can provide concessions for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and differently-abled person categories.

The CTET qualifying certificate is valid for a lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can take to acquire a CTET certificate.
