CTET 2024 Registration Last Date Extended To April 5, Here's How To Apply

CTET 2024 Registration: Interested candidates can apply online at ctet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the registration deadline for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024). Now interested candidates can apply online till April 5. Aspirants who wish to be teachers of Classes 1 to 8 will have to appear in the CTET July exam to get the CTET certificate. Eligible candidates who are yet to apply can fill the application form on the official website at ctet.nic.in.

“The last date for submission of online Applications for CTET-July,2024 has been extended upto 05/04/2024 (Before 11:59 PM). Applicant facing any technical issue while filling CTET application form may contact : 8802580447,” the latest update read.

The CTET July 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on July 7 in 136 cities across the country. The exam will be conducted in 20 languages. The CTET 2024 exam will consist of two papers held in separate shifts. Paper 1 will be conducted in the afternoon shift from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and Paper 2 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon.

CTET 2024 Registration: Steps To Apply 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the CBSE CTET at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the CTET 2024 registration link.

Step 3: Fill the required details in the application form.

Step 4: Upload the required documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.

CTET 2024 Application Fee

Here are the details regarding the CTET application fees:

For candidates belonging to General and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories:

  • Application fee for one paper (either Paper 1 or Paper 2): Rs 1,000
  • Additional fee for appearing in both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2): Rs 200
  • Total fee for both papers: Rs 1,200

For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and differently-abled categories:

  • Application fee for one paper (either Paper 1 or Paper 2): Rs 500
  • Additional fee for appearing in both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2): Rs 100
  • Total fee for both papers: Rs 600
