CTET 2024 Registration Deadline Extended Till December 1, Here's Direct Link To Apply

CTET 2024 Registration: Interested candidates can apply online at ctet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the application deadline for the upcoming CTET January 2024 exam. Candidates who haven't applied yet can now submit their applications by December 1 on ctet.nic.in. Originally set for November 27, this extension aims to facilitate candidates in applying for the exam. The CTET 2024 exam comprises two papers: Paper I for teachers of Classes 1 to 5 and Paper II for teachers of Classes 6 to 8. The exam will consist solely of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The CTET 2024 examination is scheduled for January 21, 2024, with Paper 2 slated from 9:30 am to 12 noon, having a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Paper 1 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, also with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

CTET 2024 Registration: Steps To Apply

To apply for CTET 2024, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2:
On the homepage, find and click on the "Apply for CTET Jan 2024" link.

Step 3:
Proceed by selecting "New Registration" and enter the necessary details for registration.

Step 4:
Use the generated credentials to log in.

Step 5:
Fill in the application form with accurate information.

Step 6:
Complete the payment of the exam fee and upload the required documents.

Step 7:
Review the form and submit it.

Step 8:
Download the submitted application for future reference.

The CTET January 2024 Exam will be held for two papers. Paper-1 will be held for those who want to teach for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper-2 will be held for Classes 6 to 8.

The CTET January 2024 Application for a single paper is Rs 1,000, while that for both papers is Rs 1,200. However, for candidates from the SC, ST and PwD categories, the application fee is Rs 500, and Rs 600, respectively.
