CTET 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to commence the registration for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 today i.e. Tuesday, 5th February 2019 on its official website – ctet.nic.in. The CTET 2019 Information Bulletin has been released by the CBSE and candidates interested in appearing for the CTET July 2019 examination must read through the same to ascertain their eligibility before applying. As per the CTET July 2019 Information Bulletin, CBSE will be organizing the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 on Sunday, 7th July 2019 across the country, in two shifts viz for one session for Paper-I and the other for Paper-II. CTET 2019 will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), carrying one mark each. The online application window for CTET 2019 will close on 5th March 2019, however, candidates who’ll register successfully within this timeline will be able to submit their application fee on or before 8th March 2019, 3:30pm. CTET 2019 - Important Dates: Online application process begins – 5th February 2019 Online application process ends – 5th March 2019 Last date to submit application fee – 8th March 2019, 3:30pm Correction window – 14th to 20th March 2019 CTET 2019 Exam Date – 7th July 2019 CTET 2019 - Eligibility Criteria: To apply for Paper-I or Primary stage i.e. to be able to qualify for the post of teacher for Classes 1 to  5, the applicant must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and should have either passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent. Candidates passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) or 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) are also eligible to apply for Paper-I. To apply for Paper-II or Elementary Stage i.e. to be able to qualify for the post of teacher for Classes 6 to 8, the applicant must be a Graduate Graduation and should have either passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent. Candidates passed or appearing in Integrated B.Ed or B.Ed programmes are also eligible to apply for Paper-II. Candidates must read through the CTET 2019 Information Bulletin to know more about eligibility criteria. Application Fee: Only Paper I or Paper II General/OBC – Rs. 700 + GST SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person – Rs. 350 + GST Paper I and Paper II Both General/OBC – Rs. 1200 + GST SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person – Rs. 600 + GST Candidates can pay the application fee via Debit Card, Credit Card, or in offline mode by depositing e-Challan at Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
