CTET 2019: Registration deadline has been extended to Tuesday, 12th March 2019, 5 PM by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CBSE had begun the online application process last month for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 and was to conclude the same yesterday, i.e. Tuesday, 5th March 2019; however, the closing date has been extended by a week now. ‘Last date for submission of online application form is 12.03.2019 up to 5.00 P.M. and fee payment is 15.03.2019 up to 3.30 PM.’ read the latest update on the official website for CTET 2019 viz ctet.nic.in. CBSE is scheduled to organize the 12th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. CTET 2019 on Sunday, 7th July 2019 for candidates seeking to qualify for applying for the post of Primary and Upper Primary Teachers in Government schools across the country. Interested candidates who could not register for CTET 2019 by yesterday, must avail this one time opportunity and submit their online applications by 12th March 2019, next week, while they can pay the application fee by 15th March 2019, 03.30 PM, via Debit Card/Credit Card, or e-Challan payable at Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank. How to apply for CTET 2019? Step 1 – Visit the official website – https://ctet.nic.in/CMS/public/home.aspx Step 2 – Click on the online registration tabs viz: ‘Fill Online Application Form for CTET July 2019 -Server 1’ or ‘Fill Online Application Form for CTET July 2019 -Server 2’ Step 3 – Register yourself and Login to your profile Step 4 – Fill the application form, upload requisite documents and pay the application fee Step 5 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference Application Fee: Paper I or Paper II (One Paper Only) General/OBC – Rs. 700 + GST SC/ST/Differently-abled Person – Rs. 350 + GST Paper I and Paper II (Both Papers) General/OBC – Rs. 1200 + GST SC/ST/Differently-abled Person – Rs. 600 + GST CTET July 2019 – Examination Schedule: Paper – I (Primary classes I to V) - 09.30 AM TO 12.00 PM Paper – II (Upper Primary classes VI to VIII) - 02.00 PM TO 04.30 PM CTET 2019 - Eligibility Criteria: Paper-I - Primary (Classes I to V): The applicant must be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) pass with minimum 50% marks and must possess 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent or 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) or 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Paper-II - Upper Primary (Classes VI to VIII): The applicant must be a Graduate and must possess 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent or Integrated B.Ed or B.Ed programme. Final year candidates of the above mentioned Education programmes are also eligible to apply for CTET 2019, Paper-I or Paper-II.
