CTET 2018: CBSE to release Answer Key this week; Check how to download
CTET 2018 Answer Keys are expected to be released on ctet.nic.in this week, as the CBSE conducted the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test aka CTET 2018 yesterday i.e. Sunday, 9th December 2018.
CTET 2018 Answer Key: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Answer Key of CTET 2018 anytime this week on ctet.nic.in this week. CBSE conducted the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test aka CTET 2018 yesterday i.e. Sunday, 9th December 2018. Approximately 17 lakh candidates appeared in the country’s most sought after teacher eligibility test yesterday, which was conducted at 2144 examination centres spread over 92 Indian cities. CBSE had organized CTET 2018 in two sessions; while Paper 2 was conducted in the morning session, Paper 1 was organized in the afternoon session. Candidates who appeared for CTET 2018 found the examination no different from the past papers in terms of level of difficulty.
Both the papers were reported as ‘easy to moderate’ to attempt except for the Child Development and Pedagogy section in Paper-2, which the participants categorized as ‘moderate to difficult’. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has organized CTET 2018 after a gap of 2 years due to which the number of applicants was tremendous this time. Applications from female candidates have seen a steep rise as compared to previous trends. CBSE is expected to release the CTET 2018 Answer Key this week along with the OMR Response Sheets of the candidates.
Candidates who wish to take a photocopy of their Response Sheet would be able to procure the same by paying a fee of Rs 500 via demand draft. CTET 2018 Result is scheduled to be released by 20th January 2019, next month. Once the result is out, CBSE will issue CTET 2018 Qualifying Certificates to the candidates who will secure minimum 60% marks in their respective paper.
CTET 2018 Eligibility Certificate will be valid for a period of next seven years, which renders the CTET-qualified candidates to apply for recruitment drives in the schools that come under the purview of Central Government viz KVS, NVS, etc along with schools that come under the UT Administration of Union Territories of India viz Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
Candidates who had appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 must keep a close tab on its official website – ctet.nic.in to download Answer Keys once it’s displayed online.
