CSIR UGC NET Registration Begins At csirnet.nta.nic.in, Here's How To Apply

The registration process for the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC NET exam begins at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC NET for December 2022 and June 2023 sessions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

According to the CSIR NET 2023 notification, registration for CSIR UGC NET is open until April 10, 2023. The exam will be held on June 6, 7, and 8 and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The exam will last for three hours.

Before applying for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2022/June-2023, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information Bulletin carefully. The exam fee is also required to be paid online only through a payment gateway using debit/credit cards, internet banking or UPI.

Application Fees:

General category applicants for CSIR UGC NET 2023 will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,100, while those belonging to General-EWS/OBC (NCL) category will have to pay Rs 550. SC/ST candidates and third-gender applicants will need to pay a fee of Rs 275. PwD candidates are exempted from the registration fee.

Step 1: Visit the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link that reads 'CSIR NET December 2022 – June 2023 Registration'.
Step 3: Click on 'New Registration'.
Step 4: Enter the required details.
Step 5: Upload documents and signature.
Step 6: Pay the application fees.
Step 7: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
