CSIR NET June 2024 Registration Last Date Extended Till This Date

CSIR NET June 2024 Registration: Interested candidates can now apply online till May 27, 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the CSIR NET June 2024 exam to May 27, 2024. Interested candidates who are yet to register for the CSIR NET June 2024 exam, can apply on the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. The June session of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2024 will be held on June 25, 26, and 27. 

“Submission of online applications for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June, 2024 Exams is in progress at https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/ from 01.05.2024 onwards. It has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June, 2024, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam,” said NTA in an official notice.

Notably, the Joint CSIR UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. In Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.

CSIR NET June 2024 Registration: Simple Steps to Apply

  • Visit the CSIR NET official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
  • Click on the "New Registration" link.
  • Complete the application form with all necessary details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and exam preferences.
  • Upload the required documents, such as a recent photograph and signature, in the specified format and size.
  • Make the payment of the examination fee through the available online payment options (credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI).
  • Review all the entered details carefully before final submission. Once confirmed, submit the application form.
  • After successful submission, print the confirmation page for your records.

Application Fees:

General category applicants will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,100, while those belonging to General-EWS/OBC (NCL) category will have to pay Rs 550. SC/ST candidates and third-gender applicants will need to pay a fee of Rs 275. PwD candidates are exempted from the registration fee.
