The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMDEK) has announced that the COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET – 2024) for engineering courses is scheduled to take place on May 12. The specific dates for registration and eligibility criteria will be made available shortly on the official website at comedk.org. This information comes from an official statement released by the Consortium. The COMEDK schedule underwent changes due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it is worth noting that the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA), which includes over 150 engineering colleges, has mandated COMEDK to conduct the exam on the second Sunday of May. This decision reflects the collaborative efforts and commitments made by these institutions to ensure the smooth conduct of the COMEDK examination.

“A detailed calendar of events and the information Brochure along with eligibility criteria in this behalf would be hosted on the website (www.comedk.org) in due course,” it said.

The consortium has issued a cautionary notice to aspiring candidates and their parents, advising them against sharing their personal details with third parties such as agencies and educational consultants for the registration process.
