CLAT 2025 Exam Date: The CLAT 2025 examination is scheduled for December 1, 2024. The examination will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced the date for the CLAT 2025 exam. Interested students can check the official notice for Common Law Admission Test exam dates on the official website of CLAT at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT 2025 examination is scheduled for December 1, 2024. The examination will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 4 pm. The online registration is expected to begin in the month of July. According to some media reports, the registration window will open in the first week of July. However, there is no official confirmation of this.

CLAT is an annual entrance examination which is conducted for admission to 5-year LLB and LLM programmes at 24 participating national law universities. CLAT exam is a gateway for admission to top law schools in the country, such as NALSAR Hyderabad, NLSIU Bangalore, NLU Jodhpur, and WBNUJS Kolkata.

 “The Executive Committee and the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities (the “Consortium”) at their Meetings held on April 26, 2024 decided that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 shall be conducted on Sunday, December 1, 2024, 2 PM-4 PM. Further details regarding the syllabus, application and counselling process shall be released shortly” the official notification reads.

CLAT Registration 2025: Steps To Apply

Students can follow the below-given steps to apply for the CLAT registration:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CLAT at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate for the registration link.

Step 3: Enter the required details.

Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’.

Step 5: Now, log in to the account.

Step 6: Fill out the application form.

Step 7: Pay the required application fee.

Step 8: Click on ‘Submit’.

Step 9: Download the application form for your future reference.

CLAT 2025 Application Fee

Students belonging to the General Category are required to pay an application fee of INR 4,000, while students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Below Poverty Line (BPL) categories are required to pay INR 3,500 as an application fee at the time of registration.
