CISCE ICSE, ISC Compartment Exam Cancelled, Re-Evaluation From 2024
CISCE ICSE, ISC Compartment exam has been cancelled.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has cancelled compartment exams for the ICSE and ISC Class 12 board exams 2024 and introduced a re-evaluation process, aligning with the NEP 2020. The official ICSE and ISC date sheet 2024 is now available on the official website at cisce.org. The ICSE 10th exams are scheduled to take place from February 21 to March 28, 2024 and the ISC 12th exams will be conducted from February 12 to April 03, 2024. Both exams will be held in the traditional pen-and-paper format.
Students will receive an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper. The distribution of the question paper may begin at 10:45 AM, allowing candidates to commence writing at 11:00 AM.
The re-evaluation system introduced by the Board supplements the existing post-result answer script rechecking. The board has announced the Class 10 and 12 board results for 2024 will be out in May. Starting from 2024, students can take CISCE improvement exams for up to two subjects.
Re-evaluation costs Rs 1,500 per subject and is non-refundable. Results will be available on the CISCE website within three weeks. Re-evaluation will be conducted by experts appointed by the CISCE Chief Executive and Secretary. Students must carry their admit card and school ID for verification during the exams.
