CEED, UCEED 2024 Registration Closing Today - Check Steps To Apply And More

As per the official schedule, the CEED, UCEED 2024 Exams will be held on January 21, 2024.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) will close the online registration window for the CEED 2024 and UCEED 2024 Exams TODAY, October 31, 2023. Candidates who wish to apply for admissions into undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes are advised to submit their CEED, UCEED 2024 registration cum applications as early as possible. The official online website to submit CEED 2024 and UCEED 2024 Applications are ceed.iitb.ac.in and uceed.iitb.ac.in, respectively. However, those who miss out on applying for CEED, UCEED 2024 Exams would still be able to do so till November 8, 2023, but with a late fine of Rs 500. 

Interested candidates may note that the CEED 2024 application fee for women/SC/CT/PwD candidates is Rs 1,900, and Rs 3,800 for all other candidates. As per the official schedule, the UCEED 2024 and CEED 2024 Exams will be conducted on January 21, 2024. While the UCEED Result 2024 is slated to be released on March 8, 2024, the CEED Result 2024 will be released on March 6, 2024. Candidates registered for the exams (CEED and UCEED 2024) will be able to download their admit cards from January 5, 2023 onwards.

UCEED, CEED 2024: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for UCEED 2024, candidates must have completed their Class 12 in any stream in 2023, or should be appearing for their final examinations in 2024. Moreover, UCEED 2024 Applicants from the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories must not be born before October 1, 1999, while SC, ST, PwD category candidates should not be born before October 1, 1994 to apply for the exam. Candidates may note that they can only attempt the UCEED Exam twice, and that too in two consecutive years. 

To apply for the CEED 2024 Exam, candidates should have a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2024, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2024. There is no age limit to apply for the CEED exam. 

Importantly though, besides ensuring the eligibility criteria for the CEED 2024 Exam, candidates are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria of the specific institute they wish to seek admission in. This is because of the fact that all the participating institutions in the CEED 2024 might not have a uniform eligibility criteria.

  • On the homepage, click on the UCEED 2024/ CEED 2024 Registration Portal
  • Register online using your basic details
  • Fill in the application form online 
  • Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee
  • Submit the application form
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
