CBSE 12th Result 2021: CBSE IT Department Launches Portal For Schools To Tabulate Class 12 Results

CBSE Board 12th Result 2021: Earlier on Thursday, the CBSE Board had announced the CBSE class 12 evaluation criterion 2021. According to the criterion, students of class 12 will be evaluated based on the 30:30:40 formula adopted by the CBSE Board.

CBSE Board 12th Result 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) IT Department has developed a portal to facilitate schools in implementing policy for the tabulation of marks for the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021. A notice regarding this has been uploaded on the board's official website at cbse.gov.in.

Earlier on Thursday, the CBSE Board had announced the CBSE class 12 evaluation criterion 2021. According to the criterion, students of class 12 will be evaluated based on the 30:30:40 formula adopted by the CBSE Board. As per the formula, 30% of weightage will be given to the final result of class 10th and 11th examination, and 40% weightage will be provided to the pre-board exam of class 12th. 

The portal developed by the CBSE IT department will consist of the following sections: 

  • Internal grades upload
  • Practical/ projects/internal assessment marks upload
  • Class 12 data verification for class 10 roll no, board, and year of passing
  • Availability of historical performance of schools to be taken as reference for moderation
  • Class 11 theory marks data entry and upload
  • Class 12 theory marks data entry and upload
  • Class 12 complete tabulation sheet for checking, moderation of theory marks (11 and 12), and upload

“After collection of all marks, this portal will display complete tabulation sheet for the school with a feature of subject-wise marks and reference mean for the purpose of moderation of marks by the schools. This portal and the backend systems have eased out lots of burden of cumbersome calculations for the schools,” reads the official notification

On June 1, the CBSE decided to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination in view of the covid-19 pandemic. The decision came after the high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the class 12 board examination was held on Tuesday evening. Following this, various state boards across the country also canceled the class 12 board examination.
