CBSE Exam Results 2019 in third week of May, 1.7 crore copies to be evaluated

CBSE Exam 2019: Results in all likelihood will be declared between 13th to 17th May 2019 i.e. in the third week of May 2019, next month. Speaking to Indian Express, CBSE Secretary, Anurag Tripathi stated, “The class 10, 12 results are likely to be declared between May 13 to 17, 2019.” As per Tripathi, CBSE will maintain its past trends and will declare the result of class 12th board exams 2019 first followed by class 10th exam result 2019 in the next two to three days’ time. In 2018, CBSE had announced the Senior School Certificate Examination i.e. class 12th exam result on 26th May 2018 and class 10th exam result was declared on 29th May 2018. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had wrapped up class 10th board exams 2019 last week on Friday, 29th March 2019, while class 12th board exams 2019 concluded yesterday i.e. Thursday, 4th April 2019. The evaluation process began on 14th March 2019 across the country and reportedly around 1.7 crore copies are to be evaluated with an average of 7.5 lac copies being checked each day. CBSE has also sent show cause notices to a schools questioning the management as to why the teachers of these schools failed to participate in the evaluation process. Around 3500 teachers in approximately 200 government schools did not join the evaluation of answer sheets. CBSE has also issued 15 disaffiliation notes to repeated offenders. Throwing more light on this, Anurag Tripathi said, “We have written to the Directorate of Education (DoE) recommending disciplinary action against the school authorities. The board has also recommended a fine of Rs.50,000 to all these schools.” This year a total of 31,14,831 candidates had registered for CBSE Board Exams 2019, out which 18,27,472 students had registered for class 10th and 12,87,359 students for class 12th . Students awaiting CBSE Board Exams Result 2019 must keep visiting cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in to get verified updates and steer clear of any misleading information.
