CBSE 10th Board Exams 2024: Date Sheet Likely Soon On cbse.gov.in

Candidates may note that the CBSE will not be awarding divisions and distinctions in the CBSE 10th Board Exams 2024.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the time table for the CBSE 10th Board Exams 2024. Candidates preparing for the exams who will be appearing for the CBSE 10th Exams in the upcoming year will be able to check and download the CBSE 10th Board Exam Date Sheet shortly on the official website - cbse.gov.in. Candidates may note that along with the 10th Exam Time Table, the CBSE is also expected to release the date sheet for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2024. 

However, in the light of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, it is highly anticipated that the CBSE Board Exams 2024 would be conducted before the elections next year. In a similar move, the UPMSP (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board) announced last week that the UP Board 10th and 12th Exams 2024 would be completed by March 9, 2024, in the wake of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Notably, the Election Commision earlier, also sought the time table for Board Exams 2024. 

CBSE 10th Board Exams 2024: No Division, Distinction To Be Awarded

Candidates appearing for the CBSE 10th Board Exams 2024 may note that the board will not award division or distinction to candidates appearing for the exams. "No overall division, distinction or aggregate of marks shall be awarded. Also, if a candidate has offered more than five subjects, the decision to determine the best five subjects may be taken by the admitting institution or employer,” CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said earlier in the light of the matter. 

"If the percentage of marks is required for higher education or in employment, the calculation if any, may be done by the admitting institution or employer," he further added. Notably, the CBSE eliminated the practice of issuing merit lists with the CBSE Board Exam Results to avoid unhealthy competition among students.  

CBSE Date Sheet 2024: Steps To Download

Once released, candidates will be able to download the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Date Sheet 2024, following the below-given steps: 

• Go to the official CBSE website - cbse.gov.in or cbse.nic.in.
• Find and click on the notification link titled 'CBSE Board Date Sheet.'
• Once clicked, a PDF document will display on the screen, presenting the subject-wise CBSE 2024 Board Date Sheet for both classes 10 and 12.
