CBSE Class 10th,12th Compartment Exam: Registration Without Late Fee Closes Today

Schools affiliated with CBSE will have to submit a list of students for the compartment exam through an online LOC form, and private register themselves on - cbse.gov.in.

New Delhi: The last date to apply for the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, Class 10th and Class 12th compartment exams 2022 without a late fee is today, July 30. According to a circular issued by the board, private students will have to register themselves today and schools associated with CBSE will have to submit a list of students for the compartment exam through an online List of Candidates, LOC form for regular students. 

The private candidates who will appear in the CBSE 10th, 12th compartment exam can submit their forms through the official website – cbse.gov.in.

Students whose examination centres are within India have to pay a fee of Rs 300, while those whose centres are located outside India have to pay an exam fee of Rs 2,000. The last date to fill the form without a late fee is July 30. Students will get an additional two days, (July 31 and August 1) to submit their forms but a late fee of Rs 2000 will be applicable in addition to the fee prescribed. 

How to Apply for CBSE 10th 12th compartment exams

  • Visit the official website – cbse.gov.in
  • Click on "Online submission of forms Classes 10 and 12, 2022 for Compartment Examination" option available on the homepage.
  • Enter all the required details.
  • Pay the fee.
  • Submit and download the form for future reference.

The CBSE 2022 examination results for Class 10 and 12 were announced on July 22. This is the first time that the CBSE has announced both Class 10 and 12 results on the same day.

While 92.7 per cent of students have cleared the Class 12 exam, 94.40 per cent of candidates have passed the Class 10 exam. The compartment examination will be conducted on the syllabus of Term 2 examinations.
