CBSE Board Exams 2021: Know All About The CBSE Practical Exams

The Union Education Minister announced the dates for CBSE Board Exams 2021 on Thursday. Here's all You need to know about CBSE practical exams.

New Delhi: The much-awaited dates for the much CBSE Board Exam 2021 was announced by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday. The Class 10 and 12 exams will begin on May 4, 2021, and they are scheduled to be concluded by June 10, 2021. As per the notice released by CBSE on Thursday, the date sheet for both class 10 and 12 is going to be issued very soon. The exams will also not be conducted in the online mode this year take into consideration the logistics involved in holding online exams. ALSO READ: CBSE Board Exam 2021: Here's All That We Know About Class 10, 12 Exams Beginning From May 4 There will also be 33 percent internal choices in the exam thus giving students a better opportunity to score marks. Overall the marks are going to be given on an 80:20 basis, as usual, that is theory papers will carry 80 marks and internal assessment will be of 20 marks. When will practical exams be held? According to the official notification by CBSE, schools have been allowed to conduct practicals/internal assessment for both classes from March 1, 2021, till the last date to conduct theory exams. The same will be applicable for Class 10 practical exams. The Board usually conducts the practical exams/ internal assessment in January while theory exams begin in February. Students have been advised to check the latest sample papers and markings scheme for 2021. According to media reports, the Board has also clarified during a meeting with select school principals that the practical exams will be held in school labs rather than online labs or O-labs.
