CBSE Answer Key Dispute: CBSE Forms Expert Committee To Examine Discrepancies In Class X Odia Paper

The CBSE said Monday that a dispute arose from a school regarding the answer key of “Odia subject” in Class-X, claiming that the answers in the answer key for some questions are wrong. 

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said Monday that a dispute arose from a school regarding the answer key of “Odia subject” in Class-X, claiming that the answers in the answer key for some questions are wrong. 

To ascertain factual position, an expert committee has been constituted by the board which will examine the discrepancies raised in the representation, the CBSE said in a statement dated March 14, 2022. News agency ANI shared the press note on Twitter on Monday.

The CBSE said that it had communicated the performance of students in Class X Term-I examinations to all the schools on March 11, and stated that it also made available a Dispute Redressal Mechanism on the same day to address the genuine issues of students. 

Speaking about the constitution of an expert committee to examine the discrepancies raised in the representation, the CBSE said that an appropriate decision will be taken by the Board within 24 hours, on the basis of the report of the expert committee. 

The CBSE released the results of the Class X Term-I examinations on March 12.
