New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has extended the application submission dates for private students of CBSE Class 10 and 12. Students can submit their forms by 9th December 2020.
The CBSE has extended the application submission from November 11th, 2020 (with normal fees) and November 21st, 2020 (with late fees) to December 5th to December 9th, 2020. Students who have already submitted their applications can also make the corrections in the forms now. Students can apply online and make corrections in the earlier submitted applications online on cbse.nic.in.

According to the official notification, “Some candidates have requested for correction in data and also some requests received by the Board to extend the last date. Looking into the requests made by the candidates, as a one-time measure, the link for submission/correction in the Private candidate’s data and filling of Private Candidates examination form is being opened.”

CBSE on Wednesday said the 2021 board exams will be conducted only in written mode (pen and paper) and not online. The education board also stated that no final decision regarding dates of examination and other details has been taken so far. However, it said that consultation with various stakeholders is underway and a final call will be made shortly.
"No final decision has been taken regarding the dates for the conduct of board exams, and consultations with stakeholders are still in process. The exams, as and when they are conducted, will be in the written mode and not in an online mode. The exams will be conducted following all COVID protocols," a senior CBSE official said.
