The Bihar School Examination Board has extended the registration deadline for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024 until January 7, 2024. Registration for Bihar STET 2024 began on December 14, 2023, and interested candidates can apply through the official website at bsebstet.com. The exam is scheduled to take place from March 1 to March 20. The Bihar BSTET 2024 exam will consist of two sections, with a total of 150 marks: 100 marks for the specified subject matter and 50 marks for teaching arts and other competencies. The exam duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes.

For candidates in the general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, the application fee is Rs 960 for either Paper I or Paper II and Rs 1,440 for both papers. Those in the scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST), Person with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay Rs 760 for Paper I or Paper II and Rs 1,140 for both papers.
