Bihar Board Exam: BSEB To Suspend Class 10 Students For 2 Years For Illegally Entering Centres

BSEB said that entry to the exam center for the morning shift will close at 9 am and for the afternoon shift at 1:30 pm.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has issued a warning that Class 10 matric students will face expulsion for two years if found forcefully entering exam premises after the designated entry time. The board said that such students will also face suspension and FIR under criminal trespass charges. The BSEB matric exam 2024 will be held in two shifts. The morning session will run from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, while the afternoon session will take place from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Students were reminded to strictly adhere to the exam timings, with morning shift entry starting at 9 am and afternoon shift gates closing at 1:30 pm.

The board warned, "Students attempting to forcefully enter the examination center after the designated time will be considered in violation of the board's instructions, constituting criminal trespass, and undermining the integrity of the examination process."

Additionally, any student allowed to appear in the Bihar Board Class 10 exam 2024 by the center superintendent under such circumstances will face consequences, including suspension and FIR.

To deter malpractices, the board has implemented videography and CCTV surveillance at exam centers.

On the first day of the Bihar Board Class 12 exams 2024, the board expelled 51 students for using unfair means and identified eight persons impersonating Class 12 students.

BSEB Matric Exam 2024: Important Instructions

- Examinees must carry their admit card to the exam center on all examination days.

- All candidates must arrive at the exam center 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. For the first shift, candidates should arrive by 9 am, and for the second shift, candidates should arrive by 1:30 pm.

- In all shifts, candidates will be granted an initial duration of 15 minutes to read and comprehend the questions.

- Visually impaired and disabled candidates who cannot write independently will be allowed to have a scribe. These candidates will receive an additional 20 minutes of time per hour as compensation.
