BAU Ranchi Recruitment 2018-19: Birsa Agricultural University Ranchi is inviting applications to fill 95 vacancies for the posts of Agromet Observer, Assistant Professor, Subject Matter Specialist amongst others. BAU aims to engage selected personnel under the Gramin Krishi Mausam Sewa scheme for its 11 Krishi Vigyan Kendras. Vacancy Details: Subject Matter Specialist – Agrometeorology – 11 posts Agromet Observer – 11 posts Subject Matter Specialist/Scientist-T6 – 26 posts Assistant Professor cum Junior Scientist – 47 posts Total – 95 posts Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: Subject Matter Specialist – Agrometeorology – The applicant must have completed M.Sc. in Agrometeorology / Meteorology / Agronomy /Agriculture Physics. Agromet Observer  –  The applicant must have passed  10+2 in Science stream along with the basic knowledge of computer operations. Subject Matter Specialist/Scientist-T6 – The applicant must be holding a Master’s Degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications with a good academic record from a recognized University. The applicant should have two years of working experience in ICAR System or KVK or equivalent institution. Assistant Professor cum Junior Scientist – The applicant must be holding a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject and good academic record with 55% marks from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University. Pay Scale: Subject Matter Specialist – Agrometeorology – Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 5,400/- Agromet Observer – Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 2,000/- Subject Matter Specialist/Scientist-T6 – Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 5,400/- Assistant Professor cum Junior Scientist – Rs. 50,000/- per month.
