Assam Police Recruitment 2019: The Assam Police aims to fill 756 backlog vacancies in Grade III and Grade IV posts for Persons with Disability (PwD).

Assam Police Recruitment 2019 for PwD candidates is scheduled to begin tomorrow i.e. Thursday, 3rd January 2019 on the official website of State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam - assampolice.gov.in. The Assam Police aims to fill 756 backlog vacancies in Grade III and Grade IV posts for Persons with Disability (PwD). Candidates who are residents of Assam and are categorized as Disable due to a) Blind or Low Vision – BLV; b) Hearing Impaired- HI, and c) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy- LDCP are eligible to apply for this recruitment drive. There are various Grade III and Grade IV in which candidates could be placed including, Peon, Chowkidar, Khalashi, Junior Assistant, Mali, Bearer, Regular Labour, Gallery Attendant, Store Keeper, Stenographer, Plant Attendant, etc. The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam aims to recruit these candidates for various departments of the Government of Assam viz Inland Water Transport Department, Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Directorate of Municipal Administration, Water Resource Department, Forests Department, Fishery Department, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Elementary as well as Senior Education department, Register of Cooperative Societies, Excise Department, Transformation & Development Department, Transport Department, Irrigation Department, Soil Conservation Department, Agriculture Department, Town & Country Planning, Tourism Department, Cultural Affairs Department, Social Welfare Department, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Public Works & (B & NH) Department, Industries & Commerce Department, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Printing & Stationery Department and others The closing date of Assam Police Recruitment 2019 for PwD candidates is 31st January 2019. Eligibility Criteria & Pay Scale: The eligibility criteria and pay scale varies for different posts thereby candidates are suggested to read through the official advertisement to ascertain their eligibility and know the compensation and benefits it entails. Official Advertisement for Assam Police Recruitment 2019 for PwD Candidates, 756 Grade III & Grade IV Posts Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 54 years as on 1st January 2018 (Except for Jr. Assistant posts in Forest Department for which the minimum age is 21 years.) Selection Process: The applications of the candidates will be scrutinized and those found eligible will be called for Written Exam for Grade III posts. For Grade IV posts the selection procedure already existing as per Service Rule of the Department concerned will be followed.
