The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has started inviting applications for ASRB NET 2023 for SMS (T6), and STO (T6). The application window for ASRB NET 2023 is now open and interested candidates can apply for the same on the official ASRB website - asrb.org.in. 

The deadline to apply for the ASRB NET 2023 is April 10, 2023. Importantly, while filling the online application form, candidates can choose if they wish to be considered for NET, SMS, or STO. Based on the candidates’ preferences, they will be required to pay the application fee accordingly.

ASRB NET 2023: Exam

The ASRB NET is a national-level entrance examination conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs) across the country. 

As per the official schedule, the ASRB NET 2023 Exam will be held from April 26 to April 30, 2023. The examination will be held in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode at test centres located in 44 cities across the country. 

The Exam paper will consist of 150 objective-type questions carrying one mark each. The exam paper shall consist of questions from respective subjects and the maximum time duration for the exam would be of two hours. 

ASRB NET 2023 Exam: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the ASRB NET 2023, candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the board. To apply, candidates must have completed or should complete their Masters degree in respective specialization by September 30, 2023, from a recognized university. Also, all aspiring candidates must be at least 21 years of age. There is no upper age limit though, to apply for the test. • Login using your registration number and date of birth
• Fill in the application form and mark your preferences

• Download the application confirmation page for reference
