APPSC Recruitment 2019: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has begun the application process for Lecturer Recruitment 2019 today i.e. Thursday, 7th February 2019, on its official website – psc.ap.gov.in. AP PSC aims to fill a total of 308 vacancies for the post of Lecturers in Government degree colleges in A.P Collegiate Education Service against notification number 26/2018. As per the official notification, the last date to apply for this recruitment drive is 26th February 2019, while the last date to pay the application fee is 25th February 2019. Vacancy Details: Carried Forward – 161 Fresh Vacancies – 147 Important Dates: Online application submission begins – 7th February 2019 Online application submission ends – 26th February 2019 Last date to pay application fee – 25th February 2019 Selection Process: AP PSC will organize the Main Examination in Computer Based Test mode for the selection of candidates in the month of May 2019. However, if the number of applications exceeds 25000 then a Screening Test will be organized to shortlist candidates for the Main Exam. Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.15,600 – 39100 with Rs. 6000/- AGP (Revised U.G.C scales of 2006). Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must possess NET/SLET to apply for the post of Lecturer. S/he must have good academic record with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Masters’ Degree level, in the relevant subject from a recognized University in India.
