AP TET 2024 Notification: The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has released notification for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) scheduled for July 2024. The notification is available on the official website of APTET at aptet.apcfss.in. The registration process will begin on July 4 and the last date to register is July 17, with the payment window open from July 3 to 16. The exam dates are set between August 5 and 20, with results expected by August 30.

  • Click the link for the AP TET Examination 2024 online application.
  • Complete the form by filling the required details.
  • Upload a recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
  • Pay the Rs 750/- fee per paper and submit the application.
  • Download and print a copy of the submitted form for future reference.

The AP TET exam is for individuals aspiring to become teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, A.P. Model Schools, A.P. Residential Schools, all Welfare Society Schools, Private Aided Schools, and Private Un-aided schools under the control of Andhra Pradesh State for classes 1 to 8. The application fee for AP TET 2024 July exam is Rs 750 per paper (1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B).

To pass the examination, open-category candidates need 60 percent or more marks. BC category candidates need 50 percent or above to qualify in APTET, while SC, ST, differently-abled (PH), and ex-servicemen category candidates need 40 percent or above.

For teacher recruitment, 20 percent weightage will be given to the APTET exam score and 80 percent to the respective teacher recruitment exam. The certificate of the examination will be valid for a lifetime.
