Allahabad Varsity Students Making Worlds Largest Rangoli Of Ram Temple, Ram Lalla

Besides making the world’s largest rangoli of Ayodhya Ram Mandir and Ram Lalla, students associated with the ABVP are also distributing 51,000 diyas to illuminate the Magh Mela area.

A group of students from the University of Allahabad are making the world's largest rangoli of Ram Temple and Ram Lalla, which will be unveiled on Monday, January 22, on the day of the Ram Mandir Inauguration in Ayodhya. The rangoli is being made by students associated with the ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad). The ambitious artwork will be displayed by 11:00 am on Monday, and an application for the same has also been sent to the Guinness World Record to register it as the world’s largest rangoli, ABVP media coordinator Abhinav Mishra was reported as saying by news agency PTI.  

As many as forty students of the University of Allahabad are engaged in making the rangoli which include 30 men and 10 women students, Mishra was further reported as saying. The rangoli being made is of the Ayodhya Ram Temple and Ram Lalla, he said further. Furthermore, students affiliated with the ABVP are also distributing  51,000 diyas to illuminate the Magh Mela area, he added. 

Notably, the stage is all set and preparations have been all decked up for the grand Ram mandir Inauguration in Ayodhya on Monday, January 22. Several VIPs including PM Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and several other renowned personalities from politics, sports, business, and entertainment will be attending the mega event today. In the light of the presence of several eminent figures, Ayodhya has been turned into a fortress with multi-layered security in place across the city. 

To mark the historic occasion of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration, several states across the country have declared public holidays on January 22, directed closure of schools, colleges, and other institutions. The states which have declared a holiday of either half or full day for the ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony include: Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Delhi, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Odisha, and Delhi.
