AFCAT 2019 Recruitment Notification Released, Apply for 338 Posts from June 1

IAF has notified a total of 338 vacancies for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC), Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical) Branches. Online applications are also invited for PC or SSC for NCC Special Entry Scheme for Flying Branch and for Meteorology Entry.

AFCAT 2019 Recruitment: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is inviting online applications for the Air Force Common Admission Online Test (AFCAT) 2019 for courses commencing from July 2020. The online application process is scheduled to commence on Saturday, 1st June 2019 on its official websites – afcat.cdac.in or careerindianairforce.cdac.in. IAF has notified a total of 338 vacancies for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC), Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical) Branches. Online applications are also invited for PC or SSC for NCC Special Entry Scheme for Flying Branch and for Meteorology Entry. As per the official notification, Indian Citizens both men and women are eligible to apply for AFCAT 2019 (02/2019) exam. The last date to submit online applications is 30th June 2019. Important Dates: Start of online application process – 1st June 2019 End of online application process – 30th June 2019 Vacancy Details: AFCAT Entry Flying 208/20F/SSC/M & W Course – SSC – 60 Posts Ground Duty (Technical) 207/20T/PC/M – AE (L): PC – 28 Posts, SSC – 42 Posts 207/20T/SSC/M & W – AE (M): PC – 12 Posts, SSC – 20 Posts Ground Duty (Non-Technical) 207/20G/SSC/M – Admin: PC – 16 Posts, SSC – 24 Posts 207/20G/SSC/M & W – Education: PC – 6 Posts, SSC – 10 Posts NCC Special Entry Flying 208/20F/PC/M and 208/20F/SSC/M & W – 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for PC & 10% seats out of AFCAT vacancies for SSC. Meteorology Entry Meteorology 207/20G/PC/M and 207/20G/SSC/M & W – Met: PC – 10 Posts, SSC – 14 Posts Eligibility Criteria: Candidates are advised to ascertain their eligibility criteria for the aforementioned posts from the official notification given below: Official notification for AFCAT 02/2019 Recruitment 2019 Pay Scale: The pay scale of Flying Officer will be as per the Defence Matrix and 7th CPC. Candidate appointed as Flying Officer will be eligible to receive salary in the pay bracket of Rs. 56,100 -1,10,700/- as per Level-10, with an MSP of Rs. 15,500/- How to apply for IAF AFCAT 2019?
