ABVP Demands Strict Implementation Of Guidelines On Coaching Centres

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has demanded strict implementation of guidelines on coaching centres.

In reaction to the Ministry of Education's extensive guidelines for coaching center regulation, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is urging stringent enforcement of these guidelines. The prevalent challenges concerning mental health, inadequate facilities, unregulated fee structures, and other issues associated with coaching centers have resulted in adverse developments within the education sector. ABVP calls upon the central, state and UT governments and administrations to promptly and effectively address and rectify these concerns.

Recent incidents, such as the unfortunate suicides of students in Kota, Rajasthan, and other cities and a fire incident at a coaching center in Delhi, highlight the urgent need for strict regulation of coaching centers.

ABVP National General Secretary, Shri Yagywalkya Shukla, stated, "The guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education for the regulation of coaching institutions are warmly welcomed and extremely crucial. Numerous coaching centers operating without proper regulations and laws across the country have become a cause for concern for students, parents, and society at large. Effective implementation of these guidelines will pave the way for resolving issues associated with coaching centers. ABVP calls for the effective implementation of regulations governing coaching centers, involving deliberations considering the perspectives of all stakeholders leading to informed decisions."
