G20 Traffic Advisory Noida: Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has come out with a detailed traffic advisory on public transport routes towards New Delhi. Check the details below.
Strict traffic restrictions have been enforced in the national capital as Delhi gears up to host one of the biggest international events, the G20 Summit over the weekend. Due to this, many public transport routes have been shut down. People travelling from Delhi to Noida bear some difficulty due to the road closures. However, the Noida Traffic Police has issued an advisory for the citizens so that they can check the routes and plan their travel accordingly.
The Delhi Traffic Police has recommended the people of Delhi-NCR to follow the 'Mappls Mapmyindia App' for any information regarding the vehicle movement. With traffic likely to be affected, commuters have been advised to use Metro facilities.
G20 Summit: How To Reach Noida By Metro
- From Noida to Dwarka: Take the Blue Line Metro
- From Noida to Millenium City Centre, Gurgaon (Earlier known as Huda City Centre): Take the Blue Line Metro till Rajeev Chowk. Change trains and take the Yellow Line to Millenium City Centre, Gurgaon
- From Noida to Samaypur Badli: Take the Blue Line till Rajeev Chowk. Then change trains and take a Yellow Line Metro till Samaypur Badli
- From Noida to Rithala: Take the Blue Line till Rajeev Chowk. The change trains and take the Yellow Line till Kashmere Gate. Then again change trains and take the Red Line till Rithala
- From Noida to Majlis Park: Take the Blue Line till Mayur Vihar Phase 1. Then change trains and take Pink Line till Majlis Park
- From Noida to Janak Puri West: Take the Blue Line to Botanical Garden. Change the trains there and then take the Magenta Line till Janak Puri West
- From Noida to Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh): Take the Blue Line till Botanical Garden. Then change trains and take the Magenta Line till Kalkaji Mandir. Then again change trains and take the Violet Line till Raja Nahar Singh
- From Noida to Brig. Hoshiar Singh: Take the Blue Line till Kirti Nagar. Change trains and then take the Green Line till Brig. Hoshiar Singh
G20 Summit: Noida Traffic Police Issues Road Advisory
Noida Traffic Police earlier said that the ones travelling to Delhi on September 8, 9, and 10 may require special passes and they must carry valid IDs for checks, reported India.com. For the G20 Summit 2023 weekend, several Noida and Ghaziabad offices have been directed to grant their employees to work-from-home facility.
As per the Noida Police advisory, restrictions have been imposed on the movement of heavy vehicles from Noida to Delhi between September 7 and 10. Furthermore, the Noida-bound goods vehicles, especially those that frequently use DND Flyway, Kalindi Kunj and Chilla regulator will be directed towards Eastern Peripheral Expy (EPE) reported India.com.
Chilla Border
The heavy vehicles that will be entering Delhi from the Chilla red light (border) and heading elsewhere, those vehicles will be able to make a U-turn at Chilla red light and then proceed towards their destination via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
DND Flyway
The heavy vehicles that will be entering Delhi from the Delhi-Noida-Direct (DND) Flyway and heading elsewhere, those vehicles will be able to make a U-turn at DND Toll Plaza and then proceed towards their destination via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Kalindi Kunj Border
Other goods vehicles that will be entering Delhi from Kalindi Kunj Yamuna (border) and heading elsewhere, they will be diverted from the first underpass tri-section of the river Yamuna.
New Ashok Nagar Border
Vehicles entering Delhi from New Ashok Nagar (border) and heading elsewhere, coming from DSC Road, will be able to reach their destination via Golchakkar Chowk Sector 15, taking DSC Road.
Yamuna Expressway
Heavy vehicles, medium goods vehicles, and light goods vehicles that are coming towards Delhi from Gautam Buddh Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh will be prohibited from using the Yamuna Expressway.
Moreover, the vehicles travelling from Pari Chowk to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and entering Delhi or other areas can proceed towards their destination via Honda Seal Chowk and Sirsa Golchakkar, connecting to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
