Dense Fog In Delhi Hits Visibility. 110 Flights Affected, 25 Trains Hit
Delhi Weather: Parts of Delhi were engulfed in fog as a cold wave continued in the city.
Delhi Weather Update: A layer of dense fog engulfed parts of the national capital on Wednesday morning, bringing visibility down to almost zero. The cold wave prevailed in the city. Amid foggy conditions, Delhi Airport issued an advisory for all flyers, and train services have also been affected due to low visibility. According to news agency PTI, about 25 trains are running late due to fog. At least 110 flights were also affected.

"While landing and takeoffs continue at Delhi Airport, flights that are not CAT III compliant may get affected. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information. — Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted," the Delhi Airport said in its advisory.

110 Flights Delayed Due To Fog
Meanwhile, the Delhi airport is facing delays affecting approximately 110 flights, both (domestic and international) arrivals and departures, due to dense fog. 28 International departure flights, 15 International arrival flights, 42 Domestic departure flights and 25 Domestic Arrival were affected as of 8:30 AM on Wednesday morning, ANI reported, citing information sourced from the Delhi Airport FIDS (Flight Information Display System).
Train Services Hit

As the mercury level dropped in the national capital, people took refuge in night shelters. The visuals from a night shelter in Ramleela Maidan were shared by news agency ANI.

Delhi's AQI 'Very Poor'
The AQI was recorded in the “very poor” category at 383, up from 374 recorded at 9.05 am on Tuesday, as reported by PTI.
An AQI between zero and 50 is considered "good", 51 and 100 "satisfactory", 101 and 200 "moderate", 201 and 300 "poor", 301 and 400 "very poor", and 401 and 500 "severe".
