Baisakhi 2024: Rahul Gandhi was observed sitting in a corner of the Gurdwara, interacting with and greeting people present there during his visit to Gurdwara Sri Rakab Ganj Sahib in Delhi on Saturday.
Baisakhi 2024: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday visited Gurdwara Sri Rakab Ganj Sahib in Delhi to pay obeisance on the occasion of the Baisakhi festival. The video shared on the official X account of the Congress depicted Rahul Gandhi's visit to the Gurdwara, where he entered the divan hall, the central area of the Gurdwara where the Sri Guru Granth Sahib is kept, to offer prayers.

Additionally, he was observed sitting in a corner of the Gurdwara, interacting with and greeting people present there. As Rahul Gandhi left Sri Rakab Ganj Sahib, devotees gathered around to greet him and take photos.
Similarly, a large number of devotees on Saturday were also seen offering prayers in Amritsar's Golden Temple on the occasion of the Baisakhi festival. All the gathered devotees witnessed the fireworks that adorned the sky around the Temple.

J-K LG Manoj Sinha Visits Gurdwara On Baisakhi
On the occasion of the Baisakhi festival, J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Gurdwara Sahib Abtal, as per an official statement released on Saturday, PTI reported.
During his visit, the LG emphasised the importance of following the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, particularly focusing on serving the marginalised and underprivileged sections of society. "On this Baisakhi, let us resolve to tread the path shown by Guru Gobind Singh Sahib," he said.

He extended prayers for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all individuals. Interacting with devotees at the gurdwara in the Ramgarh sector, Sinha conveyed his warmest wishes to the community on this auspicious occasion.

He remembered the vision of Guru Gobind Singh for a "just and inclusive society". "I bow to the venerable Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji. Guruji's message of selfless service, truthfulness, sacrifice, equality, and universal love is an abiding source of inspiration for all of us," he also said, as quoted by PTI.
Sinha outlined that on this day in 1699, Guru Gobind Singh established the "Khalsa Panth" and formalized the idea of the "Saint-Soldier" by introducing the Amrit ceremony.
Additionally, the LG paid homage to the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, underscoring their bravery and ultimate sacrifice in the fight for independence. "The courage and supreme sacrifice of our martyrs will continue to inspire us to build the India of their dreams," he added.
