Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal launched an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday and said "considering the history of independent India, we never had a PM who is just 12th pass." The Aam Aadmi Party chief attacked PM Modi, claiming that he is incapable of running the government because his ego is at the top.

"I want to appeal to all leaders of BJP that under PM Modi’s leadership the country is being destroyed. Those who want to destroy the nation stay in BJP & those who want to save the nation must leave BJP today:" the Delhi CM was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

He also accused Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena of impeding the work of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in a speech to the Delhi Assembly.

"I want to tell BJP people that an attempt is being made to destroy the country under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. Those who wish to destroy the country should join the BJP, while those who wish to save the country should leave," he said.

When Kejriwal mentioned the prime minister, there was a ruckus in the Assembly. In response to Rahul Gandhi's disqualification from the Lok Sabha, Kejriwal said, "They are scared."

Gandhi was removed from the Lok Sabha after being convicted and sentenced in a criminal defamation case.

Kejriwal asked LG Saxena to collaborate with the government on the development of Delhi.

"I'd like to tell LG sahab, 'You're from Gujarat.  You are our guest'.  I don't think he would be knowing even the names of Delhi roads. But we don't want fights. We want to work together. What will future generations say? They were fighting. We have to take sewer connections to every household, buy new buses, improve traffic situation...let's do it together," Kejriwal said, PTI reported.
