Woman Turns Up At Bengaluru Police Station With Mother's Body Stuffed In Suitcase, Arrested
A woman in Karnataka murdered her mother and put the body inside a suitcase and then went to the police station. She confessed to her crime at the station.
A 39-year-old woman allegedly killed her mother and stuffed her body in a suitcase at a residential apartment in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The woman later walked to the police station with the suitcase and confessed to her crime, as per media reports. The accused, identified as Sonali Sen, has been booked under section 302 of IPC along with other sections, the MICO layout Police said. The police added that the body was brought to the police station on Sunday. The victim was 71-year-old Biva Pal.
According to a report by India Today, the accused is from West Bengal and resides in a flat in Bengaluru. As per the police, the report added, the accused is married and her husband was not at home at the time of the crime.

The police have shifted the body for post-mortem and are awaiting a forensic report to ascertain the cause of death. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the accused Sonali Sen and booked her for murder.
