Elderly Woman Beaten To Death
Earlier this month, in another case of crime against an elderly woman, a 65-year-old was beaten to death by three women in her neighbourhood in Rajasthan's Kota, according to a PTI report.
Dhapubai Khateek (65) lived in the DCM area under the jurisdiction of Udhyog Nagar police station.
Three women — Manbharbai Khateek and their two daughters Simeran and Rekha — barged into Dhapubai's house around 8 pm on Friday and thrashed the sexagenarian and her daughter-in-law, according to Udhyog Nagar police station SHO Manoj Singh Sikarwal.
According to him, Dhapubai sustained serious internal injuries and became unconconcious. She was sent to a private hospital where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. Sikarwal said his daughter-in-law also sustained injuries in the attack.
