Ghaziabad Man's Body Found Buried In House 4 Years After He Went Missing. Wife, Lover Held For Murder

New Delhi: The Ghaziabad Police on Monday said that they have arrested a woman who killed his husband, who was reported missing four years ago, along with her paramour and buried his body under her home, reported news agency ANI. The body of
"A case of missing person was registered in 2018. In the case it has been found that the woman along with her lover had killed her husband 4 years back and buried him at home. Both the accused have been arrested in the case," said Diksha Sharma, Superintendent of Police Crime, Ghaziabad
The man, identified as Chandarvir alias Papoo, a native of Sikrod village in Ghaziabad had gone missing on September 28, 2018 after which a case was lodged at Sihani Gate Police Station in the city. The case was later closed after the police did not get any headway in the matter.

However, the case was recently reopened by Senior Superintendent of Police Muniraj G and his team after receiving fresh inputs.
As per PTI report, Chandravir’s wife, Savita was in a relationship with a man named Arun alias Anil Kumar before marriage and the relationship had continued.
In her statement to the Police, Savita stated that her husband had caught her multiple times in compromising positions with Arun and that Papoo used to beat her for that.
On the night of September 28, 2018 when Arun came home in an inebriated state and retired to sleep, Savita called Arun over to her house and using a country-made pistol, her paramour allegedly pumped a bullet into Papoo’s head, killing him on the spot, the report stated.
As per the Police, Papoo's and Savita's three children, including a 12-year-old girl, did not oppose the crime. DNA samples will be examined. The pistol used in the crime and the axe used to dig the pit have been recovered, they added.
