AAP Blames LG For 'Deteriorating' Law & Order Situation In Delhi
Earlier today, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Reena Gupta had hit out at Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena over the law and order situation in the national capital.
She stated that there have been around 20 murders in East Delhi in the last three months. "Incidents like these used to happen in Chambal earlier," she said.
Holding the Delhi LG responsible for the surge in crimes, she said: "BJP's LG VK Saxena Sahib is responsible for this deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi."
Gupta also asked the LG to resign if he is unable to imorove Delhi's situation.
"You hand over the security of Delhi to the Arvind Kejriwal government, we will provide security to the people of Delhi," she said.
The AAP leader also enlisted the work done by AAP in the national capital to maintain law and order saying, "The AAP government of Delhi has installed thousands of CCTV cameras. Marshalls have been appointed in buses. Hundreds of dark spots have been eliminated. We can also improve the law and order situation in Delhi."
